Waiting for the Bees...

Some recent pictures from my wee world... (click to enlarge in gallery view!)

When I saw there was a local course on beekeeping at an extremely pretty location, (a bike ride through the woods no less!) my whole being wanted to sign up for it!  So I immediately looked into funding but was disheartened when this last year the course was no longer involved with the ILA funding which everyone in Scotland is entitled to every year.  I thought there was no way I could do it, and it's only £50! (we are that skint!) but my dad gave me the money for my Christmas present! So now I just have to wait until spring!  I love bees!

My sexy breakfast was coconut milk with berries and cherries muesli and it was delicious.

In other news I added some sweet vintage jewellery and scarves to my wee etsy shop! x

Hehehe isn't that fun, us Norwegians all have this "lovely" accent. I will never get rid of it! x

Beekeeping sounds lovely! I've never heard of courses being offered on this, and surely not around where I live but sounds so enchanting and pretty exciting as well. How sweet of your dad.

That is just such a lovely Christmas present! It's going to be such a wonderful, special course, I can just imagine. I love bees too. I'm allergic to them but despite this, I've carried out a number of rescue missions when I've found stranded bees needing an energy boost. Well, I figure they're hardly going to sting me if they can hardly move, and by the time they've pepped up, I don't have my hand near them anymore!
