The best of my September.
Learning science, Mark started studying his nutrition degree at Uni, the heather, the bedroom plants, my old steel bike and our new bikes, hills, taking photographs, printing photographs, painting / colour tinting photographs, food, the gym, hanging with Cecil cat, walking the dogs Murphy and Spike, Suki cat squaring up to stranger dogs, my new hat, taking a portrait of a sweet dog called Daisy, my mum's good news and last but not least, my beautiful love's company.

Love the hat, and the photographs as always. An idyllic rural scene amidst the hay - though it brings to mind late summer, rather than autumn... Haven't we just been so lucky this year with the summer stretching out just that wee bit longer? I love autumn, probably more than any other season, but I have to confess it's been lovely to have this recent fair weather before we go crashing into a long winter! Glad that you had a lovely September and I will look forward to seeing your photographic record of October.

These photos are warm and magical - they make me think of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, while at the same time, calling to mind some of Van Gogh's work that included golden fields of wheat. Simply, beautifully lovely.

Lovely pictures - and it's great that you've had a good autumn so far! Here in Finland the autumn colours were incredibly beautiful, but now the leaves have shed and I try to find something else as wonderful to enjoy...
